Romulus and Remus Coin Ring

Founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus being nursed by the Capitoline wolf. Roman legend has it the brothers were left in a basket on the water to die. The river god, Tibernus calmed the stream and bade the roots of fig tree to catch the boys. The she-wolf then cared for the brothers until they were discovered by a shepherd and his wife.
