Our Gorgon is inspired by Marchant's famous Rondanini Medusa. The Rondanini rendition is portrayed more humanized and beautiful than the typically grotesque head which appears in artworks throughout the centuries. Deeply carved into a slightly included rock crystal, the face of Medusa is highly polished which is not only technically challenging but makes it difficult to capture with still photography.
Set in a solid 18K gold pendant.
