Daphne's Transformation Band Ring

The ring depicts Daphne's transformation into a laurel tree to escape a love stricken Apollo. This didn't stop Apollo's infatuation as he used his divine power to make Daphne evergreen. It's said that for this reason the leaves of the Bay laurel tree do not rot. Daphne was a nymph associated with wells, fountains and springs.
